Any student interested in being a part of the color guard should come to these sessions. This is open to any student, regardless of experience. Please do not be nervous about not knowing anything, nobody does until we teach you! Students should come to all four sessions.

Percussion Placement Audtitions are for all returning & new percussion students. This is the time you will be able to work with our percussion staff & we will be able to place you on the appropriate instrument for the fall show. Do not worry about being "cut." This is a time to learn, & for us to place everyone where they will be successful. Students should come to all four sessions! This way we can evaluate you over time & see how you improve with the instruction you will be given.

This is for all new & returning brass & woodwind students. This will be a time for learning about how to march. It will serve as an introduction to our visual process for new students & a refresher for returning students. Students should come to all three sessions

New Parent Meeting (GH Auditorium) (Students should come too - they'll meet current Marching Band students)

We will start at 6:00 for new parents. We will go over lots of details about the Band program & allow lots of time for questions. We will continue at 7:00 with current parents & a general booster meeting to approve the budget for the following as well as reveal the new show. Students should come too!

Band Camp is REQUIRED for all Band members. On Friday of the second week we’ll have our “Informance” & families will be invited to get a teaser of the music for the show. Students should bring lunch each day.

The second week of Band camp students will bring lunch. Dinner will be provided by Band Boosters Mon & Tues. Family Dinner Wed. & Section Dinners Thurs (more information to come about all dinners)

The last day of Band Camp is shorter - the Band will perform parts of their music and Guard will perform a sample of what they are working on. It's amazing what they accomplish in 2 weeks! Save the date to come listen and watch!!

Football Games for 2024

8/23, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18 (Senior Night)

4pm - 10pm

Typically these nights begin with rehearsal at 4pm, Band eats Dinner at 5pm. National Anthem ~ 6:45, Football Game 7-10pm The Band plays the national anthem, the fight song, stands music throughout the game & performs the show at half time.

Performance at Green Level HS by ALL 4 Cary HS Bands (GH, GL, Panther Creek, Cary) They perform their shows for each other since they don't usually get to watch each other during the competition season. This is a great night for support and camaraderie.
