SPONSOR THE GREEN HOPE BAND PROGRAM

Green Hope High School is one of the largest high schools in the state of North Carolina. We offer local businesses the opportunity to reach this population by sponsoring the Green Hope Band Program. We accept sponsors year-round and make every effort to provide optimal exposure in exchange for your support. We offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities at the level of your choice.

INSTRUMENTS

The band utilizes large instruments that are cost prohibitive for individual students to purchase. The band purchases these instruments and reuses them year-to-year, however they have a specific life span. Most of our large instruments are nearly twenty years old and are nearing their end of their life. The cost of these large instruments range from $2,000 to $10,000 each.

COMPETITIONS

Our Band Programs compete in local, regional, and national competitions throughout the year. Fees include transportation for over 200 people and a large contingent of instruments and equipment, food for all students and staff, and in some cases, overnight accommodations for over 200 people. Travel cost is by far our largest annual expense.

UNIFORMS

Our Marching Band, Color Guard, and Indoor Percussion uniforms cost up to $500 each and last approximately 7 years. We have used our current uniforms for 4 years therefore we need to start raise funds for this impending need. Current Marching Band membership is between 180 and 200 students.

MUSIC, STAFF, & DESIGN

The Green Hope Band Program purchases music, marching show design, color guard design, and music rights each school year. Additionally, the Program pays for auxiliary staff to augment the paid Green Hope High School staff. These individuals offer specialized services in the areas of marching, brass, color guard, and percussion instruction.
