2011 Marching Band Auditions

In addition to the etude, submit your Concert Eb and G scales and your full chromatic scale.

Auditions may be emailed (.mp3 or .wav file) or snail mailed (CD). You can also request a live performance via email (bmyers@wcpss.net).

Auditions are due by April 26, 2011. Good luck!

These pieces are the auditions for Marching Band only. Auditions for band classes are separate. Students can get those pieces from Mr. Myers.

Percussion Audition Schedule

  • 4/26 - Interest meeting (with technique session for new students to follow) 3:30 - 6pm
  • 5/3 - Technique session 3:30 - 6pm
  • 5/10 - Individual Audition 3:30 - until last audition is done
  • 5/17 - Battery group audition 3:30 - 6pm for upper battery and 6 - 8:30 for bass drums
  • 5/19 - Front Ensemble group audition 3:30 - 6pm
  • 5/26 - Final group audition for all sections 3:30 - 6pm
